About Karen

Karen Bergh
"Coach"

Karen Bergh’s passion for helping others achieve higher levels of performance started early in life, when she was captain of the high school cheerleaders and learned how to dole out “merits” and “demerits” to reward or correct behaviors of this elite athletic group. In college, she served as “Vice President for Mental Advancement,” helping her sorority sisters maintain their chapter grade-point average through individual goal achievement, and implementing a mentoring and rewards system. [Incidentally, that same year Karen achieved recognition of her own, winning the National song contest by composing a piece that the Pi Phi’s adopted and still sing today.]

For the next 15 years, Karen served as both an individual performer as well as an inhouse manager for a variety of companies until she became a mother of two. This on-the-job training in her “Mom Rx” role led to her private practice as a consultant/trainer/coach, where she began to follow her own prescription for finding a healthier professional and personal balance.
