How We Work

When a client chooses to work with us, we typically follow a process that is outlined below:

I. Assessment

  • Current vs. desired state (includes survey, usually custom designed, and interviews)
  • Review of attitude, knowledge and behaviors
  • Findings report and/or discussion

II. Planning

  • Goals of company vs. individual
  • Solution design
  • Resources needed (money, data, product, staff)
  • Plan for implementation
  • Definition of roles, tools, outcomes

III. Implementation and Integration

  • Deliverables – deliver plan and/or reports as needed
  • Coach – regular meetings, examine opportunities and challenges
  • System administration – accountability tracking systems, team-building and process improvement systems

IV. Reporting

  • Measure
  • Evaluate
  • Adjust/improve

We ask for a minimum three-month commitment. Change does not happen overnight. Most clients elect to continue coaching beyond the initial commitment, and we are happy to offer a month-to-month contract for services beyond the original 90-day agreement.

Our work with individuals and sole practitioners may not include additional consulting and training, beyond the coaching agreement. However, for most organizations that have more than five employees, the Praxis Coaching package usually includes some customized training, facilitation and/or systems consulting work.
